As I was relaxing on the beach in NC just a few hours ago (before returning home to NY) I paged through the latest issue of Vogue Magazine…
Anna Wintour and her team at Vogue have “spotted” accessories done in luxurious big-cat prints for Fall. They note that though we have seen animal patterns in many past collections, their popularity lives on because they add a little purrrr to fashion basics. What we see on the runways easily carries over to interior design and in that spirit, I have pulled a few of my favorite animal print items for the home. Find them at my company, The Well Appointed House http://www.wellappointedhouse.com . If you want to see more, do keyword searches for words such as leopard, zebra, etc. to browse our collections. We have hundreds of animal print items for adults and kids alike!
Top interior designers such as Bunny Williams use animal prints in their installations.
Seen here is a Bunny Williams living room with an animal print used on the couch:
Note the leopard print on the bench in this elegant bedroom from Bunny’s portfolio:
…and even the animal print used on the rug in this classic kitchen. Animal prints really do add a sexy twist to just about any interior space, whether it is contemporary or classic in design.
That is all for tonight! We have hundreds of animal print products ranging from needlepoint pillows and wastebasket sets to casserole dishes and area rugs with leopard, zebra and tiger designs!
