As a mother of three young children myself, I feel that I am quickly becoming an expert on baby gear. My first two daughters were born just 10 months and 1 week apart, with a third baby following soon thereafter. All three kids were born within a 37 month period!
As Founder and Owner of The Well Appointed House LLC, I attempt to try as many of the products that I carry as possible. I wanted to share my thoughts on a few of these with you.
I really love the Serena & Lily line, and we have been carrying it for a number of years now (since we were located in NYC up until 2005). When I gave birth to my son in October, I ordered the Prague Market Sling in Flax Belgian Linen to give it a try. I have to say that it was the one thing that would quickly soothe him when he was crying. Unlike a Baby Bjorn, it allows the baby to safely and securely remain in a cozy fetal position next to mom's body. It really does make the perfect gift for any new mom!
A stylish new diaper bag (the Gypsy Tote) came out in the same fabric quickly thereafter, and I purchased that as well. It is hands down the BEST and most stylish diaper bag around right now. I really love the neutral color and it is really perfect with any outfit during any season. With three little kids and with a website carrying over 7000 products, I have certainly had my share of diaper bags. I have tried diaper bags from companies like Burberry, Caden Lane, Bugaboo, Kate Spade, Louis Vuitton and others and this one is my favorite. It has a very natural feel, with plenty of pockets for everything you need. It also has bottle compartments to prevent spillage.
