The leaves are crisping, pumpkins are bursting from the patch and children are busy going back and forth between costume ideas.  Halloween is a fun time for the young and old alike.  Living in New York makes celebrating all holidays easy and fun, especially Halloween.  The annual Greenwich Village Halloween Parade is where New Yorkers from all walks of life get together to display their creative Halloween costumes and enjoy a spirited walk from around the West Village.  For those of you in the area who would like to participate on Halloween meet on 6th Ave south of Spring Street and north of Canal; for those who prefer to remain innocent bystanders there will be over 53 bands as well as a multitude of street performers and artists.
