The story on this iconic phrase goes that it was commissioned by the British Government Ministry pre World War II, before the British entry into the war, however the posters were never used or seen again for that matter until fifty years later when the flyers were uncovered at an auction house. Pretty wild that something now so popular was almost discarded forever!
