Things We Love: Hand Painted and Decoupage Furniture

As we count down to the day dedicated to the ones we love, we continue to enumerate the things we love – today we are focusing on Hand Painted and Decoupage Furniture.  Recently, we’ve added a great deal of new custom furniture to our collection and some dashing decoupage lamps.  Mirrored furniture is always a must, but mirrored furniture with hand painted accents? We’ll take two.  The Madison two drawer cabinet is a favorite because it can grow with a room as your tastes change.

Buy for your young daughter now this heirloom quality piece will grow with her till she leaves the nest and wants to create a banging bachelorette pad; pink never goes out of style.  We are also smitten with the Custom Leslie Mirrored Desk, shown with citrus and lime stripes, but available in any color combination to fit your needs.
These pieces are the kind to build a room around and work together to make your well appointed houseTM a well appointed homeTM.  All are handcrafted, making them even more special.  Like the mirrored furniture above, our collection of hand painted and decoupage lamps are made to last a lifetime.  Here are a few pieces that we are swooning over.
Chocolate and blue is just so yummy and warm and it looks artfully done in this Ann Urn Lamp and Handmade Shade.
This Baldwin Mirrored Lamp takes inspiration from the artist Henri Matisse in the brush strokes creating a tree motif.  It still looks modern and chic against a mirrored background and the hand painted light blue shade creates a cohesive look.
This folly lamp is truly special with a unique hand painted design against an orange background.  The chinoiserie pagoda temple is surrounded by trees and two oxen.  It is a unique artful piece you will be sure to keep for many years.  Hope you enjoy some of the goodies that we are loving, and be sure to check out the rest of our new products.

I love decoupage!!! Have all kinds of goodies saved from my mother’s handy-work in the 70’s…from end tables to pocket books! These desks are great too. Such fun and whimsy.
