Women's Wear Daily has reported that Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, will be dressed by Anna Valentine at Friday's royal wedding.
Anna Valentine designed the gown Camilla wore in 2005 when she married Prince Charles. She created a white chiffon dress for the civil ceremony and a porcelain blue gown with a matching coat for the religious ceremony. The two outfits won fashion editors over on both sides of the pond.
According to Hello Magazine, "I love dressing the Duchess," says Anna. "She gives us a lot of her own input, but is always very happy for us to suggest things. She likes something understated and well tailored with a nice detail. Nothing too flouncy." Clearly impressed by her mother's choice of designer, Camilla's daughter Laura Parker Bowles also turned to Robinson Valentine to create the dress for her nuptials with Harry Lopes. Jemima Khan is also a client.
Valentine has continued to design for the Duchess, often making five or more outfits per month, so it's no surprise that she's making Camilla's dress for Friday. The duos collaboration has been transforming for the Duchess. We can't wait to see how she will look! (Photos: Hello Magazine)
