Dress Up Your House for July 4th!

My kids and I hung American flags and draped festive banners on our house and around our property a few days ago.  Kids love getting involved in holiday decorating and it’s a great summer activity!  July 4th is my favorite holiday — it’s the weekend I was married ten years ago!  I love the season, the red, white and blue; the patriotic songs and of course the food and fireworks!

If you’ve got guests coming this evening for a BBQ and fireworks, it’s not too late to be festive.  Run out to your local Party City or party store and grab some flags and banners and some wire and in no time your home will be ready for its close up!  Here are some photos for inspiration
