There is a lovely house here in Greenwich on Carleton Street that I pass by about six times per day when I am running my kids back and forth to camp. It’s a white house and the owners have recently put up gray shutters and are doing additional renovations, and the project caught my eye. I started thinking about how elegant gray can be so I just pulled a few photos of homes with gray shutters for inspiration here on the blog. Here are a few I thought you would enjoy:

We are doing grey shutters (they are “country club green” right now – remember when everybody’s shutters were that color? Yeah, ours still are.), but hadn’t found the right color yet, so thank you for the Benjamin Moore paint color suggestions!
Absolutely, grey color really enhanced beauty of the house. These shutters are looking very eye-pleasing and attractive. I feel that shutter installation is the main reason behind beauty of this house.
That grey custom shutters are really making the home so inviting and comfortable to live in. Aside from beautifying your homes, it also serves as protection when it storms. I love it. The color matches your home.
If we choose the shutters wisely, according to the color of the building, it will give an amazing appearance to the building. Whether its house or commercial place, having shutters has many benefits.
Any idea what the name of the grey is in the top photo?

We aren’t sure – wish we could help you find it!
I used Royal paint from Ace Hardware in the gray color of “Still Life.” My house is tan siding and red brick and it looks very nice. I used a Clark Kensington “Sky Blue” for my front door to make it pop.
