Baby It’s Cold Outside! Stylish Boots, Boot Trays and Boot Warmers!

It is f-r-e-e-z-i-n-g here in Greenwich today. Temperatures are in the single digits and snow is everywhere!  Schools were dismissed early yesterday and my children had a delayed opening this morning.  We spent yesterday afternoon sledding on a hill at my house, eating homemade snow ice cream (scroll to the very end of this old post for my snow ice cream recipe http://blog.wellappointedhouse.com/2010/12/snowed-in-snow-ice-cream-recipe.html) and of course warming the kids’ red faces and cold hands with hot chocolate and marshmallows!   I have been bundled up and wearing my warmest Tecnica boots (which I love).  As someone who lives in the Northeast, snow boots are part of my winter wardrobe.  There are so many fun styles these days, so you can get sporty or sleek!  Waterproof and warm is a must!   I’ve selected here a number of fun snow boots that either I own or my friends have and love.  Sorel and Tecnica are brands that are popular with women right now: (If you are reading this from your mobile device or getting our blog posts via email, you have to click the link to view the shopping recommendations since Javascript is used – click here to view)

Don’t forget to pull out your boot trays.  The salt from the roads gets brought into the house and can damage wood floors and carpets.  Here are a few that we sell on my retail site, The Well Appointed House: The Circles Boot TrayThe Pine Cones Boot Tray and the Squares Boot Tray.  Each is $50.
