Last Night with Eddie Ross & His Vintage Valentine Trunk Show

One my way to a wine dinner in NYC last night, with a good friend in tow,  I stopped by an Upper East Side soiree hosted by Jackie Keber and Molly McCooey to see lifestyle and design guru Eddie Ross.

It was a cozy evening of shopping and champagne with the former Martha Stewart Living editor and Bravo’s Top Design finalist.   Eddie shared his secrets to easy entertaining and presented his personally curated vintage tabletop and accessories.  Here is Eddie setting up before we all arrived (I love the pillows):

I was there quickly, but my friend and I left with a few fabulous finds!  She purchased a number of vintage compotes and candlesticks and I left with a few antique 1920’s serving pieces that I’ll use for everyday.  It’s always fun to pull out something unique like the old English olive fork I purchased.  It was a great find of Eddie’s and I’ll use it when we have friends over and we are serving martinis!  Cheers!

Those pieces are amazing. I’ve been trying to find good vintage silver. Could you recommend any other good shops or places to find vintage silver candlesticks and serving pieces? I live in Westchester, NY, so I am near NYC and suburbs.
