Celebrations abound here in the United States for the impending royal nuptials! One of my good friends, Christine Bazylevsky, is prepping for a royal soiree at her home in Manhattan on Friday. I caught up with her today and she shared with me some of the details of her royal party prep:
It’s hard to believe that life sized cutouts of Kate and William will be on hand to greet her visitors!
Tiaras are a must for all in attendance!
Family Jewels will be on hand for guests to “borrow”. She’ll have a “Pick Your Jewels” section table at the party…
Delicious London Chocolates and Teas
More charming British teas
She’ll be serving charming Eleni’s New York cookies
Not one to skimp on details, Christine even has printed napkins!
I can’t wait to see the actual party on Friday! There will be huge parties, such as the “Royal Wedding Bash” being held by the St. George’s Society of New York (GEORGE) with three course meals, champagne receptions, open bars, live bands and auctions! The St. George’s party is being sponsored by the British Consulate-General New York, the BBC America, British Airways, Newmark Knight Frank and the Financial Times. Wow…those are some seriously British companies!
I am looking forward to watching the wedding in the cozy comfort of friends! What are you all doing to celebrate? If you have photos to share, please email them to me and post comments here.
