Outdoor Spaces: Taking Inspiration from our Favorite Shelter Magazines

Spring is in the air and summer will be right around the corner, so if you haven’t already, now is the time to be sure your outdoor spaces are in tip-top shape.  Bring out your outdoor cushions and pillows, dust off your lanterns, restock your supplies of pillar and citronella candles and clean out those grills!  To inspire you, here are some outdoor spaces we liked here at The Well Appointed House.

An oversized French clock face from Devonshire hangs above a Provençal table near the pool.  I’m not sure if this clock was made for the outdoors, but we sell one that’s equally as fun.  It’s intended for indoor use but you could probably get away with using it in a covered area for a few years:

I love the coral pillows on the wicker couches.  Check out ours, just $58 each (no wonder they are on backorder!)

We love faux bois and have a big collection of pieces at our web store.  Here’s a peek at a few of my favorite faux bois benches:

Having outdoor areas within the property is definitely a sight to behold. It is the home owner’s little paradise where they can relax and escape from reality even for awhile. Families with children might be worried about their safety but there are various options to ensure the safety of the kids like railing systems for porches or decks for instance. When it comes to a slice of heaven, there are more ways than one it worthwhile.
