Things We Love: Ritz Paris Bathrooms

There are few hotel bathrooms worth photographing and sharing, but I had to snap some photos when my husband and I stayed at the Ritz Paris recently.  The suite had “HIS” and “HERS” bathrooms, and it was the “HERS” that really caught my eye!  The bathroom was done in a soothing palette of grey and white and combined with the marble and brass fixture accents, it really worked nicely.  It felt very Parisian!    Unless you plan to stay at this particular suite at the Ritz, you are unlikely to get an inside look at these gorgeous bathrooms, so here’s the scoop on how they look:

I was also treated to a private sauna, perfect for relaxing those weary feet and tired skin after walking around the city all day:

In case you’re curious, this was the “HIS” bathroom – not bad either!

Elegant with classic white pedestal sinks (two, I guess, even though the traveling lady is supposed to use the other bathroom) and paired with traditional black and white marble on the floor, the “HIS” bathroom is more simple and smaller but still fabulous.  You can’t go wrong at the Ritz if you want to experience classic Paris!

The gray and white color combination is a smart look if you’re planning your own bathroom renovation.  That idea can be carried over to other pieces in a room or to the overall color scheme of wallpaper, paint and fabric.  Here’s a fun armoire that we sell at The Well Appointed House:

If you go the gray and white route, we’ve got a lovely bathroom plaque that would be perfect!  It’s our Le Bain Oval Wall Plaque in Gray, $45
Enjoy the photos!

Love the Ritz Paris classic peach robe! My husband had one sent to me almost ten years ago as a reminder of a visit there- still wear it today! Gotta love that guy!
