I am decorating a small room in my home and decided to go with a rich Spring Green silk wall covering – details to come. In the meantime I wanted to share some fabulous room shots that I had in my decorating file with showing varying shades of green. It’s a color that is so rooted in nature that pulling a room together using the hue is generally quite easy.
I love this one from Coastal Living magazine.
The walls in this bedroom (designed by Stephen Shubel) have Sherwin William’s Springtime paint on the walls.
From Suellen Gregory Interior Design. The soft Spring green here adds such a pop of color against the ivory sofa. I like the way Suellen has brought in so many pastels into the room.
I love this one with the fabulous old antique sconces interspersed between vintage prints.
The walls here are a deeper green — and fabulous in the context of the bamboo and wall art!
This photo was from a “Small Cool 2012 contest” on Apartment Therapy and was entered by a woman in Washington, DC. She sure makes use of her small 425 square foot apartment!
The glossy hunter green wall in this Coastal Living Magazine photo provides nice contrast to the soft geometric sisal pattern and neutral colors in the room.
A soft minty-green entry hall from Martha Stewart.
A rich dimensional green used with traditional case goods and decorative accessories from House Beautiful. There are so many shades of green that can be perfect in the right setting. If you have any fabulous photos of green rooms you have decorated, please send them our way!
