I enjoyed a nice segue between the hectic Thanksgiving “rush” and the Christmas craziness that is just around the corner — at an elegant Valentino trend presentation and luncheon yesterday at Richard’s in Greenwich by editors of W Magazine. The event was hosted by a number of women I know and a percentage of sales of the Valentino collections at Richard’s through December 2nd will benefit the YWCA of Greenwich. My friend Emma Pennington is a board member at the YWCA and through her I have come to appreciate the good work the YWCA does to help women who are victims of domestic violence. It was great to see Valentino support this cause. Adrianne Singer, President and CEO of the Greenwich YWCA kicked off the luncheon while guests enjoyed a lovely lunch, Resort 2013 music and a preview of the collection. Valentino kindly donated a bag and have been generous in their support of the YWCA.
W Editors introduce the collection: Claudia Mata (Jewelry and Accessories Director) and Sam Milner (Senior Market Editor and Manager)

The Andy Warhol inspired pops of color were evident and appreciated by all of the luncheon attendees! Valentino’s designs are exquisite!
