It’s that time of year! Time for the 20th Annual Family Party at the American Museum of Natural History in New York City! I am pleased to be a Chairman of this year’s benefit again this Wednesday night and I wanted to invite all readers in the NYC metro/Westchester/Fairfield/New Jersey to come into the city for a night of fun! This is hands down the best family party put on in the city and great for kids two and up! This year’s event is sponsored by Tiffany & Co. and Lord & Taylor and is sure to be the best year yet! The entire museum shuts down for a night of food that includes special exhibits, dinner, dancing and entertainment for children and adults alike! This year we have Mario the Magician, a special Tiffany & Co. gem dig, “A Touch of Nature” with Jerry Zelenka, a new live reptile show, Buddy from The Jim Hensen Company’s Dinosaur Train, Cozy’s Cuts for Kids will be doing hair and there will be tons of arts and crafts! We will feature once again the engaging “Museum Science Center” where children will have the opportunity to discover the wonders of live animals, extreme specimens, and scientific data. This year’s Scientist Advisory Committee is lead by Curators Chris Raxworthy and Mark Siddall. Kids can also venture into the fabulous glow-in-the-dark GLOW ZONE, see “Wildman” Steve Brill or visit the Frogs or Butterflies exhibits! A delicious dinner will be served and a huge assortment of snacks is being donated by Magnolia Bakery, Horizon Organic, Sabra Dipping Company, Bare Fruit, Food Should Taste Good, Fruit.0 and MoonPie – yum!
Tickets for adults are $175 each and children are $85 each – this includes full access to the museum party and dinner for the whole family under the whale in the Milstein Hall of Ocean Life! BUY TICKETS HERE! Don’t miss out!
I have included below the invitation so that you can see if you recognize any familiar names on the host committee (ALL ARE WELCOME!) and the program below so you can see just how big this family party is! There is something for everyone on three floors of the museum! If you are coming please post a comment!
