I met Monica Rich Kosann years ago at Bergdorf Goodman, and I’ve always loved her line of keepsake jewelry. I gave my mother and mother-in-law lockets a few years ago when my kids were tiny. They make the best gifts! I’ve been thinking about what jewelry items make fabulous Valentine’s Day gifts – and her Poesy Rings are right up at the top of my list for 2015 because they have such meaning. They are sentimental and sweet and everything a woman wants on Valentine’s Day!
I figured I would post them on the blog in case any of our male readers are looking for Valentine’s Day gift ideas. Poesy Rings date back as early as the 14th century. They were rings that bore poetic inscriptions and were exchanged as expressions of friendship, inspiration and love. Worn as a necklace on Monica’s gold or steel chains, the 18K gold Posey Rings are future heirlooms. I’m a fan! They were worn by Emma Stone on the cover of W Magazine recently as well.
